Yoga Therapy is the process of empowering individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application of the Philosophy and practice of Yoga- International Association of Yoga Therapists. (IAYT) Yoga Therapy Counseling - Yoga Privates Tzivia creates a process of using yoga postures breath work, talk and bodywork to stimulate the release of conscious & subconscious material. She holds 'therapeutic space' for the client to be present with their body sensations and guides the client toward personal options and resolutions. Postures are enhanced through restorative (propped) or physical support and may include: body dialogue, visualizations and/or enactments. Journaling, homework or other ‘anchors’ are also used for the client’s continued healing journey between sessions.
Tzivia studied: Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Classes with Karen O'Donnell Clark, Amy Weintraub, Judith Lasater and Trauma Sensitive Yoga and a licensed clinical social worker; on insurance panels, medicare & medicaid.
Individual Yoga Sessions: Therapeutically designed to assist in stress reduction, body awareness and self study.
Yoga Group Classes: Body-Consciousness Yoga, Mindfully moving into Asana, we celebrate exploring body sensations and meaning. Restorative Flow, Meditation at Art is Life Studio in Richardson, Texas.
