What is CranioSacral Therapy?
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, soft-touch, "no greater then the weight of a nickel - 5 grams" non-invasive hands on approach to evaluate and releases soft-tissue, restrictions and tensions, deep within the body's core along it's dura membrane system of the central nervous system.
CranioSacral Therapy is not a chiropractic method, nor does it work to manipulate bones, but instead works indirectly to release soft-tissue and membrane restrictions along the brain and spinal cord to help improve the whole body health and wellbeing. Release restrictions, restores movement and mobility, which in turn helps the body to heal.
Practitioners tune into the soft tissue movement and lines of tensions along the central nervous system, by listening, palpating with hands and by supporting the body's own innate wisdom for self correction, using soft positional releases and direction of energy methods.
